To begin with, one must mention that Surgut has the unofficial name of “oil capital of Russia”, because the production of oil is well developed. Economy of Surgut is linked with oil extraction and gas processing. The largest enterprises of the city are “Surgutneftegaz” and “Gazprom”. In other words many people move to Surgut because of its high salary. Moreover, many people in Surgut have more than one car. It is a fantastic place to start a new business.
